How to design a web site
The first thing you need to do is reflect on the main purpose of your site. If it is simply an online brochure for your company you will be able to use "static" html pages. If however you want your site to be interactive, collect information from your visitors or have a shopping cart, you will at some stage need to use dynamic web pages.
Your web hosting company will usually have shopping carts, and other scripts that you can add on to your site, but to make the most of them you will need to understand how to edit the web pages to use them, or get your web designer to do this. This GUIDE shows you how.
