FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol

Once your website is ready, you will need to know how to upload your site to the your host's server using File Transfer Protocol (FTP).

List of good FTP software

Usually the download is free for 30 days and there are many freeware or shareware versions available. Just search for "FTP software".

WSFTP - This is very widely used and is an excellent FTP client.
CuteFTP - Also excellent
Fetch - for the Mac.
