To design a website yourself it helps if you understand the HTML code that makes up the page. This is the code you see when you click on > View > Source in your browser.

Understanding HTML and how to change the code behind the page, allows you to do a lot more, such as copy and paste the banners for affiliate programs, or change a template you have downloaded, etc...

Web Page Teacher is an HTML editor that will help you to learn website design. It contains a free course of interactive tutorials to teach you the basics of HTML as you design your own web page.

It is an excellent introduction to HTML and will let you decide whether or not designing the site yourself is for you!

When you click on the download link you will then need to choose the folder to save this program in. Ensure you note where you are saving the program. Once downloaded unzip the file and then double click on the file called "webteach.exe" and follow the installation instructions. This should then install Web Page Teacher on your computer. One installed click on the green HTML icon to launch the program.
